Just Ask a Woman
Women's Stories, Women's Lives.
Since 1999, Mary Lou founded Just Ask a Woman, LLC to help major brands increase share and relevance. Over 15 years, Mary Lou led a team of innovative strategists and researchers to unearth the hidden Whole Truth behind American women's consumer behavior. Major brands and corporations (Kraft, General Motors, GlaxoSmithKline), retailers (Saks Fifth Avenue, IKEA, WalMart), service providers (Westin, American Express, Wells Fargo) and dozens of leading companies in every industry turned to Just Ask a Woman for strategic counsel and answers. Their pioneering listening techniques fielded with over 20,000 women-- from the faux TV-talk show sessions called Just Ask a Woman LIVE to ethnographic DocuDiaries and high-energy Just Ask an Expert SALONS --changed the way businesses discovered insights about their most powerful consumers.
Now Mary Lou leverages her lifetime of listening to women into a new production company to tell their stories through theater and traditional and emerging media.
